Star Wars Legends X-Wing Books | The Story of Rogue Squadron
The name Rogue Squadron goes way back to the earliest Star Wars Legends books in the EU. Bantam published the first X-Wing book in 1998, written by Michael Stackpole. The series would later be picked up by Aaron Allston.
Patty Jenkinsโ Rogue Squadron film was going to be an original story, but apparently would have referenced several things from the old EU novels. So Iโve taken a look back at my old X-Wing Rogue Squadron books, to perhaps figure out what the Rogue Squadron film would have been be like.
Big shout out to Lottie on this one. She helped me put together the "men writing women" section, and her point about establishing the women's looks before their abilities was hers.
