Since the dawn of time a mystical and primal energy existed, what we now know as the force. From what we’ve been told there are two sides to this force. The light side of the force and the dark side and they have been at War -- each striving to extinguish the other. Then came Anakin Skywalker who was deemed the chosen one, prophesied to bring balance to the force and did with the demise of Emperor Palpatine. However, as we saw in the sequel trilogy the Sith returned bringing the force out of balance again -- that is -- according to the Jedi.

The question we need to be asking is what does balance in the force truly mean? Is it the light overcoming the dark or is there something more to it? This is a question fans have speculated for years but we may have finally gotten a break in finding our answer. In Episode thirteen of The Mandalorian, Asoka told Din to take Grogu to Tython and Tython -- holds the answers to all our questions.

In today's CBR video we’re going to explore the lore filled history of Tython and break down the origins of the force. We will learn who the first users of the force were and what Tython taught them that’s been lost to the generations of Jedi and Sith.
