Here is part one of a complete play through of Star Wars Republic Commandos. I played this game only one time before, back in 2005 and I must say I'm very surprised how great this Masterpiece Shooter still feels today! It was a blast to play it again and I think it's also a great game to watch! After learning more about this game I must now say that I hardly used everything that was possible as I usually tried to safe ammo because I did not know what was ahead ... :) Also I only discovered much later that you can post your whole squad on snipe positions and not only my hunter lol
Also I only just learned in another YT Video that you can set traps for your enemies to walk in ...
So I guess I really played it in VERY HARD difficulty! :D But man it was FUN!

This game plays very similar to Quake3 and after I adjusted the controls a bit it almost felt like good old Quake3 too. I played it on the hardest difficulty as I played Quake 3 quite professionally around 22 years ago. I even made it to and stayed in the TOP 20 of the CTF Leaderboards there. My name there was Avatar or SWQ|Avatar in case anyone I ever knew there sees this lol ;)

Maybe one sentence to the Anti Aliasing mode I used that I call Voodoo5 Anti Aliasing... This means I used Nvidia Inspector to set the AA mode to 8x sparse Grid supersampling. Looks absolute stunning!

Of Course I played such a game on my beautiful Sony FW 900 CRT in 16:10 :)
