Bringing you an awesome mod by Leon280698 on ModDB that actually makes Star Wars Republic Commando playable on modern machines. (Not that it wasn't, it just fixes the pixel shader issues on modern cards and the associated crashes and graphical anomalies.)

What the mod does:

- Fixes Pixel Shader (or lack thereof) issues on modern graphics cards.
- Fixes crashes with bumpmapping set to Medium or High.
- Fixes shaders looking terrible when bumpmapping was achieved.
- Optionally changes the HUD to be "tighter" for better view.
- Optionally adds legs to the first person view.
- Fixes the Clone face values. (I assume for the advisor.)

Instructions:

- Download the file from the link above. (Republic Commando Fix)
- Unzip all the folders into your game's directory (works on Steam/Retail)
- Play and set your settings as you desire!

I (like many others I'm sure) have been waiting for a mod like this for quite some time. Thank you to Leon for making this a thing. Follow him for mod updates.

EDIT: One crucial thing I overlooked. With these mods you cannot play the game in Multiplayer unless the server, or the host HAS THE SAME MOD INSTALLED.
