Rogue Squadron is back for the Gamecube! Join Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles in their fight against the Empire once more. This 1st stage is the classic attack on the original Death Star. Take out all the deflection towers in the first area,along with some Turrets if you want. When they're all down,you'll switch to the next area,where the goal is to take out TIE Fighters. They can be hard to see in space,use your targeting computer if needed. In this game taking out the leader in a TIE group makes the others scramble,so keep that in mind. When they're all down,you'll travel down the trench. Some pillars and guns stand in your way,and eventually TIE Fighters will appear from behind. If you brake you can get behind them. Darth Vader's ship eventually appears,all you can do is hold out until Han shows up to save the day. Fire Proton Torpedoes at the end to save the day! I included another run of this mission to get the Tech Upgrade Advanced Shields,which is in the area the TIEs first appear in,very hard to see,and also to get a Silver Medal.
