I think the answer to the above question is going to depend heavily on whether or not you are coming into this with nostalgia for the old X-Wing and Tie Fighter games, or if you are expecting something that is a GAAS. It's a short, quick, and ultimately satisfying romp in the Star Wars universe, but it is over entirely too quickly in my opinion, and there isn't enough variety to keep me wanting to play this on a daily basis. Even so, it's extremely enjoyable, and I'll be continuing to dabble from time to time when I get the urge to blow a Tie Fighter up with my trusty X-Wing.
