No Music.. No Talking.. Electronic Arts Star Wars Squadrons has launched as a cheaply priced (should be 10 bucks cheaper) Triple A title.. and seeing MSFS2020 doesn't shoot.. I figured what the heck... let me try this just for a change. I was a young man still in my 20's, when Star Wars first movie came out... I enjoyed the first three movies.. I still rate it as one of the best series I ever watched... Now then.. to the game.

Star Wars Squadrons is a no frills cross platform basic game of space battles in Iconic Star War ships.. about a 7 hour single player story line with fairly good cut scenes (Morgan Freeman voice in a younger body was a bit creepy) or a 5v5 PvP across 6 maps online.. what you see here..is what you can expect after you finish the story.. it is extremely fast paced and I am now extremely slow..smh.. I felt so lost.. but I think with practice.. if I keep coming back to it.. I will find my spot. Here is just my first fleet battles online and first live person kill (Luca Dresker, well they said it was a live fighter pfft), a few bot kills and my own death.. then I tried practice with just squadrons attacking me and yeah.. not to good there either.. "first" load and attempts, didn't even know how to use missiles yet lol.. it's "ok".. Not much else to buy.. some items to improve your ships in game and just practice to get better with what you got.. I can see teams competing in this.. just the basics.. keep it simple stupid goes a long way.. I also dabble in VR and this game supports that as well.. if I ever hook my VR up again.. to me, VR is a fun toy, still years away from being a good stand alone source for a AAA title game.. but, was another reason I bought it. I may have to update my VR equipment before I try this and a few other titles coming in the near future.

I also want to mention the most underrated Space Game I been playing long before steam had it.. the maker been around since the 90's and it is just a fabulous series over looked by many.. There was a time I ran a server(old school) with a universe the game creates and stores what you accumulate.. it's been soo long.. I probably should have just loaded it again... but anyways.. I am talking about the Evochron series.. space battles, cargo hauling, mining, world creators.. they also have a combat only space game..I haven't tried it.. maybe I should have.. anyways, you can actually get DEMOS from the website.. or just buy it on steam..if I remember correctly.. its only fault is "too many" options in controller setup.. which gets confusing at first, figuring it out.. but it allows everything to be connected ..
