StarCraft 2: Life's Macro Into Micro Zerg vs Terran! (Game Analysis)
798Life is definitely one of my favourite players of all time. In the recent IEM grand finals in Taipei he faced Maru, a top level Terran player. In this game analysis we take a look at his macro in the early part of the game, and the micro he follows this up with. This isn't a very fancy macro game, just straight up domination with subtle little nuances.
The build order that Life uses in this game is nothing special. It's something that people have been using since the start of the StarCraft 2 expansion. The scouting that Life does, is something more unique. He somehow manages to scout everything with just a couple of Zerglings, and without flying in an Overlord.
In the early game Life makes a lot of Drones. He basically saturates his 3rd base completely, before switching over to his micro style play with Zerglings and Mutalisks.
