StarCraft 2: TvT Build (2x Proxy Barracks Reaper)
4As requested by a viewer here is a TvT cheese build that, as the name would suggest, focuses largely on doing lots of economic damage early on via proxied Reapers.
This is a fantastic build for practising general multi-tasking as it requires good Reaper control and focus fire whilst also transitioning up the tech tree at home for safety.
The build order is as follows:
- Initial Supply Depot + send an SCV over to proxy location.
- Wait for a couple of mining trips, then send another over.
- Pause SCV production at 15 supply.
- Build first Barracks.
- Build first Refinery.
- Build second Barracks.
- Build second Refinery. (Fill both gases with SCV's once done)
- Make a single SCV.
- First Reaper.
- Orbital Command.
- Continuous Reaper and SCV production from here. (Typically stopping at 5-6 Reapers.)
- Once 100 gas without pausing Reaper production, make Factory.
- Send Barracks home once done with Reaper based aggression.
- Once Factory done, make Cyclone + Starport.
- Build a Command Center.
- Build a third Barracks, and also get a Tech Lab and a Reactor on the starting Barracks once they're back.
- Get Stim, get Tanks, transition into 2 base eco.
- From here, the choice is yours whether you get basic upgrades and attack or alternatively enjoy the economic lead you got from the Reaper damage early on and play an ordinary game.
