Was messing around with using my PS3 controller for Minecraft, and decided to have some fun with Starcraft 2 against the easy AI. I was using my Minecraft controller setup, so for SC2 I was able to use the A and S keys in addition to pointer control and mouse clicks, via my controller.

Near the end of this game, I'm finding it almost impossible to keep my money low. Hotkeying buildings/units is impossible with my controller setup, but I can't imagine it being practical with any controller setup. By the end of the game, with a fully saturated main, it takes all of my apm simply to macro. Controlling units while macroing was not possible whatsoever.

Note that I did a pretty standard-ish build order and opening strategy vs Protoss. Obviously the easy AI isn't going to remotely resemble a real life opponent, but you can see the difference in timings between doing this build with a mouse vs a controller.

Average APM: 26
Maximum APM: It got up to 50-60 very rarely, due to spamming of right click for move commands and stuff like that.

OR MAYBE 1-BASE TERRAN IS JUST SO EASY YOU CAN USE A CONTROLLER AND STILL WIN AMIRITE?
