Starfield | Computer Data | Sirak's Computer
0Sirak, the author of these log entries, is trapped aboard a space station called the Oracle with several other people. Something has happened to turn Sirak's friends and coworkers into hostile enemies, referred to as "Phantoms". Many people aboard the station are dead.
The Oracle is randomly jumping through space, which is causing more people to transform into Phantoms. A small group, including Sirak, are attempting to regain control of the station and stop the jumps. They managed to install a new protocol into the mainframe, which will hopefully stop the jumps when the mainframe reboots. This protocol will also return the station to Va'ruun'kai's orbit and transfer all research data.
Sirak's group consists of himself, Nadine, Basira, and Taras. Coren was also part of the group, but was killed by the Phantoms. In order to fully enact their plan, they need to reach the Engineering Bay, but it is guarded by Phantoms.

Entry 01
Something terrible has happened. While I try to remain analytic in my logs, I find myself terrified for all of us up here aboard the Oracle.
We have lost so many already. We had no time to prepare. How could we when it is our very friends and coworkers who turn on us in an instant? And even if we had proper time to react, how do we bring ourselves to kill those same people?
Entry 02
The Oracle has jumped again, spurring on a second wave of transformations. We are losing too many too quickly. And what if the station continues to jump? Coren and I tried to reach the Operations center, to see if we could regain control of the station, but it is overrun with aggressive Phantoms. Coren did not survive, may the Serpent embrace him.
Basira enlisted my aid in creating a new protocol for the Oracle to follow if we can only reboot the mainframe. Perhaps Nadine can help us connect to the Operations controls through my computer here in order to install it.
Entry 03
Thank the Great Serpent for small victories. Nadine was able to help us connect to the Operations mainframe and install the new protocol. Now all we need to do is force the Oracle's mainframe to reboot and hope it prevents the random jumps we are experiencing.
Once rebooted, the Oracle is now programmed to return to Va'ruun'kai's orbit and transfer all of our research data. All we need to do is last long enough to reboot the mainframe. Somehow.
Only a handful of us remain: Nadine, Basira, and Taras. Nadine believes we can force the Oracle to shut down if we can reach the Engineering Bay. But we all know that our hostile brethren await us there.
