Starfield Monster Costume: How to Get It and Keep It Even After Completing the Quest
In this video, we show you how to get and keep the Monster Costume in Starfield, a unique and fun spacesuit that can be used to scare tourists or simply add a bit of silliness to your gameplay.
To get the Monster Costume, you first need to travel to the New Homestead settlement on Titan. Once you arrive, head into the main building and proceed downstairs to the underground section. There, you'll find Dr. Giuliana Lakota arguing with a tour guide about the tourists disrupting her work.
After listening to their conversation, speak to Dr. Lakota and express interest in her disdain for the tourists. She will then offer you a special monster costume to scare them away. Accept the costume and equip it in your suit slots.
Once you're wearing the Monster Costume, exit New Homestead and look for groups of tourists. Approach them and they will flee in terror, completing the objective.
After scaring off the first groups of tourists, Dr. Lakota will thank you and ask you to scare away more groups in the coming days. You can do this by waiting 6 hours and then repeating the process.
Once you have scared away three total groups of tourists, return to Dr. Lakota to complete the quest. She will thank you for dealing with the tourist problem and allow you to keep the Monster Costume.
Important Tip: Some players have reported losing access to the costume after handing in the quest to Juliana. To prevent this, simply switch to a different spacesuit before returning to her. This will remove the Monster Costume, but it will remain available in your Spacesuits tab. After completing the quest, you can then re-equip the Monster Costume and keep it forever!
Whether you want to terrorize NPCs or roleplay a lovable mascot, the Monster Costume is a fun and unique addition to Starfield. So get out there and start scaring some tourists!
