Working on my ship again, I took parts from the Va'ruun Hymn that I captured in a previous part to create a new ship for myself, the Frontier II. The main reason was that the other ship had engines that I wanted to use, and with selling most of the existing parts back, it didn't cost too much for the modifications.

The reason for the change was that with my main character, I realized, for myself anyway, that I didn't really need outposts for trying to manage resources. Instead I could have a ship with all six workbenches in it, and just upgrade the cargo as needed for anything I was keeping.

So, the other part was tearing down the outposts I currently had. Though I do realize the irony of using one to help modify my ship more easily than popping to several ship part vendors. But, I still think it was worth it, and I can still plop down outposts as needed. Though I think those cases will be more for when I need a large number of a specific resource.
