Starfield - xCloud & Xbox Series X/S - PC - Graphics & FPS & Power Comparison
121Starfield is available on game pass. All the information is already well known since the game has been covered extensively.
- One S running xCloud is basically the Series S version but with an (I believe) 720P60 stream. I tested this on my 1Gb/s connection but bitrates transferring were pretty low (10Mb/s while in movement).
- Interesting to see how low power consumption is on Series X, many scenes (specially in space) sat at around 130W. This could indicate that a) they are hitting some kind of bottleneck b) we could expect a performance patch in the (near) future?
- Remember that trdrop was never intended for use with compressed video. Even though cloud gaming recordings are lossless, the video itself has visible compression because it is being streamed. It looks like it is reporting the correct FPS most of the time but it should be noted that it can and will give unreliable results when used this way.
