Starfighter Neon - Single-Screen Slaughter - Let's Try
6Welcome to Starfighter Neon, my friends! This single-screen shoot-'em-up is very, VERY reminiscent of Asteroids in the best way. You have multiple powerups with which to kill enemies and actual asteroids, and a meta coin-collection game that allows you to unlock new fighters, all of which appear to fly very differently. In this video, I take you through all of the game modes and find that the twin-stick modes are best for me, even though I am still awful at the game itself. It's fun though, and competent, and cheap, so I can't help but recommend it to the shmup fan.
