Starfleet crews have to undergo rigorous training while at the Academy in order to be allowed to set foot aboard a Starship. I thought it would be a fun idea to look at the level of physical fitness required from your average officer and how that is maintained aboard ships.
It seems that most of Starfleet's classes are geared around staying healthy for survival situations and general life in space facing the unknown with only a small fraction dedicated to combat.
