I have been transferring old cassettes to my poota recently, and at the same time digitally cleaning them up to the best of my abilities.

Here we have the bonus audio cassette that came with the Rainbird Software game Starglider 2. The track was composed and performed by David Lowe (Uncle Art).

The mastering of the tape I have never felt was fantastic. The bass was clearly too high and it was mastered right at the edge of the limit of cassette audio storage capability. So I have removed as much tape noise as is possible without damaging the music itself, reduced the bass by 1dB and increased the treble by 1.5dB, before saving.

I hope you enjoy what I consider possibly the best audio transfer of this track yet.
