Start Your Scenarios in Random Vehicle Seating Positions of planes, helicopters, trucks, or boats
23This video will share two small scripts with you for Arma 3
that will enable you to start a mission in a random vehicle seat
of your choice.
The player and all playable units in a mission will be randomly moved
to a cargo position (seat) either on a transport truck, helicopter, plane,
or even a boat/ship.
All that is needed is to name the vehicle and then define the name or
names in the vehicle pool in the script.
The idea behind the randomization into vehicle cargo seats is to
create a dynamic replayable scenario where the player and playable
units (other players) dont know which vehicle, or plane they will start in.
This is ideal for planes for paratroopers as each time the mission
starts each player will be randomly starting on any of the planes and not
know where they will be dropped, nor be in the same plane every
mission start. Works for any vehicles that have cargo spaces, and
SP and MP.
Playable units can be grouped under a commander or individual.
