Hello there! Thanks so much for joining me today!

I decided to take a little bit of a break from the modded gameplay I love so much, and do a vanilla survival series that's just Single-Player* Ark, from a fresh start on the beaches of the Island, through to beating the Island bosses. This may be the last year of official events and new content being added to Ark 1, with Ark 2 on the horizon, but this game will doubtless become a classic... and it's changed a lot over the years. New content has been added, old methods of doing things have been patched out, and many older tutorials no longer work. I'd like to show things that still work, in 2022.

The limits I've set for myself are (as I said) no mods, and I want to continue the series until I beat the Overseer,in between streams on some of the modded servers I play on with friends. But I call it singleplayer* with an asterisk because you can actually play with a friend or a couple friends on your local save (your single player world) by setting up a non-dedicated session. It's kind of like a multiplayer mode, rather than a server. It's so cool that in this game you have the option for your friends to join you and play with you in your single player world. I'll show you how to do that, and may occasionally have a friend or two join me. Also, I'm planning to show you how to transfer maps in single player too... We may occasionally make trips to tame creatures on some of the other "free" DLC maps.

I'm excited to make this series so I can have crazy early game adventures again, those always make for the best stories later on. I also want to share gameplay tips and tricks that anyone playing this game can use, even if they are playing on another version (such as Xbox, PS4, Microsoft, Epic Games, or coming soon Switch) and don't have access to mods. I have family members who play on consoles so I hope they will especially enjoy this series.

The tips I share may or may not work in Ark Mobile, I make no guarantees about that... Ark Mobile is basically a different game, it was sold years ago and isn't managed by WildCard, so much of the content is slightly different.
