For the first episode in my new series of videos about Starting on YouTube I discuss deciding what kind of videos you should make, how to choose a good channel name and two methods of getting a channel background.

YouTube is a fantastic place for creativity and getting your videos noticed by a worldwide audience. I have a lot of fun making my videos and I hope I can help you start your own channel. In later installments I will cover what you should and shouldn't do in your videos as well as some different equipment you will probably need including a camera, lighting, computer and more.
