In 1990, Nintendo broke with tradition and gave The Western World a video game that Japan would never see. (More below…)

Episode Information
GTV 100 "The American Gamer" Season 5 Episode 17
Original Airdate: October 16, 2020
Produced September 21-29, 2020
Recorded at Butsudan Studios and edited on my 15" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, which was starting to show signs of age, though rock-solid.
Produced with Final Cut Pro and Photoshop, which my job paid for!

This video is a little different. Of course everyone is welcome on this channel, and I appreciate it, but this video was made for the small, loyal group of people from Japan who watch me, have learned English from this channel and enjoy seeing their experiences from an American viewpoint. Now it’s time to reverse that, and deliver something more Americans are familiar with and Japanese don't know so much about. A way of saying thank you Japanese fans for sticking by me for so long!

The intro music was provided by Famicuber! A great musician who makes great chiptunes!
He is on Twitter here https://twitter.com/Famicuber You can also find his music on the game Eyra, The Crow Maiden. Check it out here!
