State of Decay focuses on survival tactics and community focus. SOD: YOSE is an open world, where the player's choices are an important factor. Players are able to choose from a large variety of locations to build a base in. These structures can include watch towers, gardens, sleeping quarters, kitchens, workshops, medical bays, and barricades can be constructed to defend against the infected population, help survivors recover faster, and build explosives and other tools. The bigger the structure you choose to reside in, the larger the population you will need, and even greater amounts of resources.
Food, medicine, shelter, ammo, and construction materials are needed to hold your own real estate and succeed. Player's can build, but not limited to (inside structure): library, kitchen, gym, extra bedrooms for larger populations, garden, etc. Depending on the size of the structure depends on how many locations you can build within the four walls. Example: Your first place to reside in will be Church of the Ascension. Over a period of time, and depending on what game mode you choose - resources and population growth will be limited at a home base of this size.
YOSE includes ALL DLC from the previous Xbox 360 version such as lifeline and breakdown. For those who pre-ordered, you have also earned Day 1 edition including the Prepper's pack and Avalonian. YOSE includes a 30 fps on the Xbox One, upgraded from the previous installment on the 360.
