State of Emergency 2 was a game that came out a long time ago. About 10 years ago or so. It is about a conglomerate or corporation that takes over the country. Or that runs the society. the corporation is a monopoly that controls all economic, political and military power. If you played the original or first one then you may have liked this game. At least I did.

I thought this game was a good mirror of society. In that there are very simular things. The game takes place in the future where people rise up and take control to restore democracy. At least they did that in the first Emergency game.

But yes, it has long been believed by many that real power belongs to stock markets or wall street instead of washington dc. This was proven in the occupy movement and the seattle riot against the wto organization. Even now some still believe politicans or governments just to be another price tag in society. Like all things in life, where almost everything is a price tag
