***NOTE: This should still work on all planets, but the efficiency is going to be questionable. Recently, they made the planets more realistic by adding solar efficiency and solar angle that are more realistic based on our galaxy. I am working on new videos to help people figure this out! This set up should be fine on the moon, though. ***

Hey folks! I wanted to share a quick design for solar panel tracking using the latest updates to Logic Units!

You'll need:

2 Kit (Logic I/O)
1 Kit (Logic Processor)
1 Kit (Logic Memory)
1 Construction Kit (Sensors)

1. Place Construction Kit (Sensors) with a Daylight Sensor facing the horizon where the sun will rise.

2. Place a Kit(Logic I/O) as a Logic Reader connected to your Daylight Sensor. Set it to read the Solar Angle variable.

3. Place a Kit(Logic Processor) as a Logic Math, set to Divide.

4. Place Kit(Logic Memory) and set the variable using the new, smaller screws to 1.8.

5. Cable the Logic Reader into the Logic Math at the 1 input position.

6. Cable the Logic Memory into the Logic Math at the 2 input position.

7. Place a Kit (Logic I/O) as a Batch Writer. Cable it's output to the Solar Panel data network.

8. Cable the Logic Math output into the Batch Writer input.

9. Set the Batch Writer output device to Solar Panel and Variable to Vertical.

10. Power on all Logic Units.

Notes: Make sure you've positioned your Solar Panels so that the sun rises at 0% Vertical mark.

Remember to check that you've set each of your inputs using the screwdriver. It's easy to forget to configure them.

The most important note of all - remember to have fun! Thanks for watching!
