Used up to 4 different hds...boots but sometimes randomly crashes on any linux via gaming PC.

Got steam 3 os to run, than transfered it to my gaming PC (it's always good to have two pcs), it loaded a bunch of drivers then asked me for steam username and password...in a dos format. So naturally put it back, booted normally again BUT the steam os locked my kb and mouse functionality out. So I def had it.

Final verdict: Steam os due to partitioning that no normal person understands...is not worth installing....and it probably lacks driver support and will eventually crash your steam deck I mean PC.

facts about Linux installations:

BTW: it was not easy finding the obscene pattern to install on the board, and I may come back to this as I was smarter with Linux two years ago. Like for instance a bootloader with 500mbs that is partitioned in windows is better than an auto partition bootloader through Linux at 10.2 gbs. Linux though will always install on certain pcs, even Intel emachines. But would stay away from dell if you're installing Linux. Any mobo gaming amd board will obviously run great.
