The Blair Witch game has made it clear in previous parts of the Blindplay, that the world exists in a spatial loop and that time is not linear. The only way I can move through the darkness in this part is with a mine cart. Making sense so far?

Now the path is blocked by a fallen tree, and we need to get a (checks notes) Steam Donkey fixed to lift the big log off the track.
