Steam: Enable/Disable/Change Keys - Steam Overlay and Shortcut Keys [Tutorial]

One of the most useful features that comes with the Steam client has to be its in-game overlay. The overlay allows you to chat with friends, browse the web, look through game guides and more, all whilst inside of a game.

Steam Overlay is a very cool feature of Steam that helps gamers to use Steam features directly from a game without even launching the Steam application. This overlay can be very useful as to access it you need to simply press Shift+Tab while playing a Steam game. But sometimes this feature can crash your game or incite similar in-game problems. Follow our fix to easily enable/ disable this feature.

It’s great, you don’t have to alt tab or exit the game to surf the web. However some players may want to turn it off, or just change the actual shortcut key used to access the menu.
