1Before you ask, yes, this is a PC port of the EXA version, you can tell by the vertical aspect ratio and voice acting, making the original version obsolete. The executable is literally called "Soul Eater Refine," that should be enough of a sign.
But now I have to question why the hell EXA outright stops selling their versions, just because they become available on different platforms, extremely questionable business model, but what do you expect from a company run by a known PCB hoarder.
Anyway, the new Dual Mode is basically TH8 Team mechanic, where your chosen character uses its main shot, but the focus shot is the other character.
Besides some graphical glitches (you can see some of them in Stage 1), I have to question, why the hell would you have an option for boss timers, when the original was scrutizined, because it had infinite milking, why would you even offer that? Axe that option completely, set all boss timeouts to 3 minutes and be done with it, it will only cause problems with high score leaderboards like on Restart Syndrome or be outright banned, because people would not tell you if they played with high timers or infinites.
Also, Extreme Difficulty's multiplier is broken, it doesn't multiply at all and shows x1 on the score tally screen.
