Why am I not getting SMS from Steam ?


If you are unable to receive SMS messages from Steam, then buy steam gift cards from third party websites where they give 100% gift money. then redeem that gift card on steam.

Novaplay not working? No OTP sent to phone? Can't buy games on Steam? SOLVED!

I've shared some points on how you can easily and simply resolve this issue based on my own situation.

Here are some key takeaways:

1. Check your phone's SMS inbox, search for 'QP-YDDTEC' sender, aka Bidumoney. Numbers appear something like this -1~2~3~4~5~6
2. This otp does NOT pop up automatically. Find it in your sms inbox and goto the next step. That's the otp problem solved!
3. The next page takes you to the pre-selected payment option page, and bank page. Do the needful. Money successfully delivered to your Steam wallet!

(You can do this through the Steam client itself, no need to go only to the website or app)

No use contacting Steam or Novaplay. Neither has proven useful in resolving this matter since the late-June Summer Sale started.
