This is using beta SteamOS 3.5.1. You can also do this on the latest stable SteamOS 3.4.11 just install the appropriate kernel header.

Due to the nature of SteamOS, this wont survive a branch update! Next step for me is to package an easy to use script to easily install / reinstall waydroid. Until then use this video as a guide.
