This is the current build of Steel Assault, as of February 11, 2015. It's essentially a very short teaser of what the game is going to be. The game is very, very incomplete right now ("pre-alpha" state), and doesn't fully represent the final product.

The game has no lives at the moment; when you die, the level just restarts.
You can also restart the level by pressing ENTER.

The structure of the first area is also not ideal. In the final game,
the Washington, D.C. area will have two minibosses (in a slightly longer level span).

Also, you don't get hurt in the metro level when you fail the jump from one cab to the next. In the final game, you will.
