Broken Shackles was originally teased back in Federations. Back then it was in the game code listed as; Escaped Slaves. Now, however, with the announcement of First Contact, Escaped Slaves has morphed into Broken Shackles. An Origin where you start as primitives, escaped from the servitude of an advanced MegaCorp.
