Stellaris is one of those games that has nearly unending replayability. There's 100's of Ethics, Civic, Authority and Origin combinations to choose from, and all of them have their merits. Some like to min/max, some like to roleplay. However, there are playstyles out there that may not be so straightforward. This is the difference between playing the game wide or tall. Both are totally feasible in a post Federations world though they play completely differently and have their own challenges.
