Stephen Hawking's life.
Stephen was born in Oxford, on 8th Jan 1942.
He studied physics at University College, Oxford.
In the early 1960s Hawking contracted amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, an incurable degenerative neuromuscular disease, but he never gave up.
He worked in the field of general relativity,.
Hawking theoretically delineated the properties of black holes, objects about which it was previously thought that nothing could be known. 
He married and divorced two times.
He had three kids: Lucy, Robert and Tim.
He died on 14 March 2018 at the age of 76.
He is buried in Westminster Between Newton and Darwin.
