This is from a bootleg DVD/CD set I bought years ago and thought was lost but found it recently while cleaning out the house. This concert is from Beacon Theatre in New York City from November 1994. This was in a time before the internet and smartphones when someone snuck in a videorecorder. This is a nice version with "Cupid" (from Sam Cooke) intertwined. An official live recording of this song with a short tease of Cupid appears on the "Time 3" boxset from Journey.
Please note Steve Perry took a long break from performing (1987-93) and this was around the time when his 2nd solo album, "For The Love Of Strange Medicine" had been released so getting this was a real treat back then.
One of the best male vocalists of all time in my opinion and one of my TOP 10 personal favorite Journey songs.
