"Stranger Things" series has brought this song back to the forefront but Separate Ways has been a strong staple of the Journey catalog for over 40 years. This is from a bootleg DVD/CD set I bought years ago and is from Beacon Theatre in New York City from November 1994. This was a time before the internet and smartphones when someone snuck in a video recorder.
Steve Perry took a long break from performing (1987-93) and this performance was around the time when his 2nd solo album, "For The Love Of Strange Medicine" had been released.
One of the best male vocalists of all time in my opinion.
