3After four years away from Dota 2, I finally decided to return! I stopped playing before the pandemic in 2019, and so much has changed since then. This game was played before patch 7.38, and I jumped back in with Arc Warden—a hero that still feels as powerful as ever when played right.
In this match, I went 15 kills, 8 assists, and 0 deaths, completely dominating the enemy team. With solid positioning, careful Tempest Double usage, and constant map pressure, I managed to secure MVP and close out the game in just 25 minutes. The insane burst damage, split-pushing potential, and ability to control fights made this game a one-sided stomp.
Coming back to Dota 2 after such a long break has been an interesting experience. The meta has shifted, new mechanics have been introduced, and even itemization feels different from what I remember. But at its core, Dota 2 is still the same intense, strategic, and rewarding game. Every match is a learning experience, and this Arc Warden game reminded me how much I missed playing.
