Wildfire is amazing! Another perfect proof that GameMaker Studio can be an artful tool in the hands of a dedicated and passionate game designer. The game is a blend of stealth and physics mechanics. The world of Wildfire is filled with forces of nature and dangerous enemies who will go at great lenghts to stop your character for going to the right side of the screen, for some reason. I'm sure it'll be explained in the final version of the game, this is just a demo, be patient. So, you play as a pyromancer or some other fancy fantasy word, and you have the power to weild the elements of nature in your favor, if you manage to. You just have to use the left mouse button, it's not that hard. What is hard is the imprebili... imprevisil... unforseenable ways things can go wrong. You can't just push forward and fast, you have to use your abilities and strategize your way through danger. Also, your foes are so terrified of fire they'd rather jump off a cliff.
Wildfire is a successful Kickstarter and Greenlight project created by Sneaky Bastards. Or more familiarly, by Gamespot's own Aussie editor, Daniel Hindes, and his merry team of developers, of course. Most of the money went into the art department and it showes. It's a beautiful and fun game. Be on the lookout for it around March 2016, when it's supposed to release. You'll surely enjoy it.
