I love 8 bit music and chiptunes alike. The style was so inspiring to me as a kid that I wanted to try it myself someday. Thanks to modern software and a computer, I've applied the "8 bit" method to some tunes I arranged years ago during high school. I know it's not true 8 bit, rather, 64 bit, what with the multiple channels and all that. The sound is close in some cases, but sometimes I take EQ liberties. And that's the point of what I am trying to do here. They're nothing extraordinary, but I had fun with them. Finally being able to layer these tunes with the 8 bit sound was fun and an interesting learning point for mixing. No more rambling, I hope you enjoy what I managed to make enjoyable. Thanks for any feedback! The artwork isn't anything in particular. Just something I thought of to add to the game-like feel. The artist who sketched the original outline and the one who colored it are linked below.
