I hope STRAIN can keep this up, feeding me amazing maps like this. Definitely contending for my favorite map I've reviewed. This map is just wild, it constantly kept me on my toes, and had surprises for me back to back. From what I can tell, the goal in this map is to turn on a series of generators to power the locks to leave the facility, but in the process you are also destroying the facility and causing random explosions due to what else the power lines are connected to. The map constantly opens up, revealing new areas through exploded walls. It also contains a sewer section which doubles as a very well executed exploding barrel battle. They are spaced far apart enough to not cause a chain reaction and clear the whole area, but they are all satisfying and useful in their own groupings. It then reminds you that this is an infested facility, by revealing a fleshy tunnel with some varied texture usage that leads to one of the generator rooms, and what seems like a row of computer components. This map loads you up on rockets, and it finishes off strong with a sequence of Hell Nobles, ending with the introduction of another new monster. A white painted hell noble called a Demon Lord, with a big health pool and some heavy firepower. Thankfully it can still take splash damage, so the rocket launcher can swiftly neutralize it down a hallway.
