Bug Report for the KSP2 Development team is this video of a ship re-entrying kerbin from a failed launch (~2200m/s at 70KM - the video starts around 40KM at 2287m/s). Where the solar panels were significantly heat tolerant and when the capsule was all that was left there were some phantom heating sources on either side of it and it overall failed to slow down and it hit a mountain range.
