The cat soon comes across a lab where an AI instructs it to help download itself into the body of a small drone. The AI thanks the cat for its help and introduces itself as B-12, explaining that it used to help a scientist but much of its memory was corrupted and needs time to recover. B-12 promises to help the cat return to the surface and accompanies it further into the city.
