I check out a selection of games that caught my eye from this year's Itch bundle for Pride Month, the Queer Games Bundle. Get the bundle here: https://itch.io/b/2506/queer-games-bu...
Games played:

-Refactor, by Sockpuppet/fluffy. A playable music album, or bundle of minigames that are set to music tracks. Only three have been made so far but they're interesting in how they're timed to their songs. There's a frantic brick-breaker variant, a micro-narrative RPG, and a score-chasing falling game.

-Ultra Hat Dimension, by Eniko. A grid-based puzzle game where you move through rooms while being punched by NPC characters. A variety of hats help you interact with them to escape each room. It's also very cute! I played through the first world (of five).

-A small packet, by Packbat. A very short Bitsy game with a sweet message, you play as an email being sent internationally through the Internet.

-Beauty Copter, by Graceless Games. A charming and surreal adventure game about helping out the guests at a resort by flying around in your personal mini-helicopter. The tasks and the characters are bizarre and the flight controls are clumsy but I loved this little world. Unfortunately I think I broke the game slightly and couldn't make it to the end, but I had a great time.

-MMO Simulator, by Liana. Another short Bitsy game full of satire about MMOs and their players. A silly little bit of fun.

-Lofty Quest, by Devon Wiersma. A hidden object game of sorts where you rotate little 3D voxel dioramas. It has potential but I somehow couldn't figure out how to progress in the game proper after finishing the tutorial, so I had to abandon it.

-Yurivania III: Circle of the Polycule, by MxAshlynn. The latest instalment in the Yurivania series of GBC homebrew adventure games, which I've covered before. This one seems the most ambitious so far, with a complex quest to make magic glyphs so that the witch Never can summon all the members of her monstergirl polycule. The lovely pastel world of the haunted castle is as wholesome as ever with its supportive queer monstergirl community, and I got through the first day before stopping for now.
