I play through the first and fourth games in the Schbibinman series: Kaizou Choujin Schbibinman on the PC-Engine, and Kaizou Choujin Schbibinman Zero for SNES. The first is a simple but enjoyable romp, while Zero really steps it up and is very fun. In between I spend a bit of time in the Satellaview interactive interface, where your avatar explores a small town. Also we chat about Rockman, other Satellaview games, and have some impromptu mini-lessons on Japanese language and culture, as well as paranormal artefacts!

A correction: I spoke way too strongly from a position of ignorance about the Zelda character Aginah. The fandub’s pronunciation does match up with the Japanese name, and the spelling with a “g” was a localisation choice, not a direct reflection of the original name. Sorry fandub people!
