Street Fighter 1 [Arcade] - play as Mike
This is a demonstration using Mike in the Arcade version of Street Fighter 1. Read on for more information...
Mike is the second American enemy opponent in this game. He is an unplayable character.
This is an alternative version of Street Fighter 1 which allows the player to select and control any of the enemy / boss characters in the game.
===== Additional Information =====
---- In Mike's case, he doesn't have any jumping strikes or crouching strikes.
---- The enemies/bosses are set in a way where most of their '"special moves" are done by holding Down and pressing a P or K button. This suggests that their jumping moves are a set routine/move, instead of a free move during jumping. This explains why you cannot perform any strikes when jumping with the enemy characters.
---- Despite selecting the bosses, the portrait of Ryu (1P) or Ken (2P) is always used for the versus screen.
---- After you win a round, the winning text still says Ryu or Ken.
---- This version of the game gives a good insight into how the CPU enemies/bosses operate and how their moves function. It also allows you to study their moves more closely without interruption.
