Just a bit of proof of concept. This is a standard Commodore 64 multicolour bitmap mode that a Commodore Plus/4 could do even better (121 colour palette vs 16 colour palette). There is no excuse for a shit non scrolling C64 port of SF1. You can even use hi-res sprite overlays expanded horizontally to do the black outlines in fat pixel mode aspect of background graphics here. The clouds are just a place holder because there is no decent arcade background rip (I stitched 3 screenshots together with a fucktonne of editing to get out the other 4 sprites of players in the 3 screenshots)
