Part 1 of 2 - Street Fighter Alpha Ryu playthroughs. (Xbox One)

This is also known as Street Fighter Zero in Japan. Street Fighter Alpha series taken place between Street Fighter 1 & 2. This game delivers an enhanced gameplay and graphics since Super Street Fighter II Turbo, instead several characters were redesigned for these next installments, such as Ryu wears a white headband instead of his red one, Ken's hair is longer then his SF2 appearances. Evens instead of Guile, Charlie takes his place before him in the alpha series, evens had a little more special moves compares to Guile.

Street Fighter Alpha also included a few Final Fight characters to be included to the rosters, Guy and Sodom. (Since confirmed by Capcom themselves, saying that Final Fight series shared with the Street Fighter Universe.) There's evens some returning characters from the very first Street Fighter, Adon and Birdie, evens a newcomer to the existing series, Rose.

There are also three hidden characters you can play in this game, evens encountering them throughout some character's storylines. Unlike the home version, you must reaches a certain conditions to meet them in battle, while one is a regular boss character to some certain characters.

Now then, for the starting point of my first SF Alpha playthroughs, I went on playing the main of the SF series, Ryu. Ryu's moveset is somehow a little similar to his previous SF2 moveset. His still process his Shinku Hadoken as a common super combo move, including his spinning hurricane kick as a super move as well.

Ryu can be useful for some first time beginner of the SF series.
