Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection (XBONE) | SFIII New Generation Ryu Playthrough p.1
Part 1 of 2 - Street Fighter III New Generation Ryu playthroughs. (Xbox One)
Finally, I've been wanting to play this game for so long! Sadly, they didn't included the home version of all three Street Fighter III... Well, maybe someday in the future they'll add it as an update.
Anyway, Street Fighter III is supposedly as the title said for itself; The New Generation. This is right after the recently released Street Fighter V; the supposedly next chapter of the Street Fighter series.
In personally, this is my most favorite Street Fighter series. Everything in these games is amazing, breathtaking made for literally the next generation. The music, the graphics, everything is wonderful. (At first, I was going to smile in tears, after so many years of waiting for this moment to come...)
Anyway, here's my first playthroughs of the game I've been waiting to play so badly; Street Fighter III New Generation. And once again, I'll be playing as Ryu. Back then, Chun Li was the first and only female fighter during Street Fighter II series. (Until Super SF2, Cammy is next as 2nd.) Until this game, Chun Li, along with everyone else, were being replaced with several newcomers such as Ibuki, Yun/Yang, Elena, Dudley, etc.
This game features a guarding system called Parry. Parry is like guarding but completely neutral any damages, and its can be trickier and complicate to perform it right. To perform a Parry, your opponent must attack. Right before their attacks landed on you, press forward right before the attack hit you. I'll say it again, YOU need to time yourself at the right time the attacks is about to YOU. The timing can be a little hard to adjust, but it'll become easier once you've practice good enough. (Of course, I'll still practicing myself. LOL)
There is one thing that Street Fighter III New Generation didn't had; Bonus Round. The bonus game weren't introduce to this 1st entry of the SFIII series.
