mIn 1997, after SIX years of no mainline game, the FIRST Street Fighter 3 game (New Generation) finally made its way after many stops and starts during development. Unfortunately, it found its way bumping into the big leagues (Tekken 3, Mortal Kombat 4, and Virtua Fighter 3) and failed to capture much interest at the time.
