A versão de 1999 do Dreamcast, intitulada Street Fighter Alpha 3: Saikyo Dojo (ou Street Fighter Zero 3: Saikyō-ryū Dōjō no Japão), usa todos os recursos adicionais da versão PlayStation do jogo, mas apresenta um modo World Tour diferente. Guile, Evil Ryu e Shin Akuma são imediatamente selecionáveis, embora o último ainda compartilhe um slot com sua contraparte regular e seja jogável por meio de uma combinação especial de botões. Um modo online foi adicionado, permitindo que o jogador exiba sua pontuação mais alta. Além disso, um modo Saikyo Dojo foi adicionado, que coloca um personagem que o jogador construiu no modo World Tour contra um oponente muito forte que teve que ser baixado da Internet e alterado a cada semana. A versão Dreamcast foi relançada no Japão em 2000 como Street Fighter Zero 3: Saikyō-ryū Dōjō para Matching Service como um título de venda por correspondência via Dreamcast Direct.
